Description
How can adults support children in making healthy choices? Dynamic, thoughtful, honest, and smart--Jeanne Blake's evidence-based multimedia presentations give you strategies that enhance your skills.
Through multimedia presentations, Jeanne Blake, the creator of "Words Can Work", shows how even the most resilient of children need to be able to talk about their worries and concerns. Otherwise, they may internalize emotions and act out in violence such as bullying or self-harm, self-medicate with alcohol or other drugs, or show increased anger, anxiety, and depression. This powerful, multimedia presentation offers information, communication strategies, and the latest research about how to support kids in making lifesaving connections and healthy choices.
