We provide surviving family members with opportunities to unite in strength and support. In some cases, it is to find renewed purpose; in others, it is to heal from loss. Our goal is to support the entire family throughout their journey, whatever their needs may be.
If you are a surviving spouse, parent or family member who lost a loved one to military conflict, terrorism or mass violence, Tuesday’s Children provides opportunities for you to grieve, heal and thrive with others who understand. Our supportive communities come together in a variety of settings to best serve your unique needs. (Unmarried partners, adult siblings and adult children of the fallen also would benefit from and be welcome at these programs.)
If you are looking for a new passion or an opportunity to reignite excitement for your current goals, we have programming that supports, empowers, and excites you.
Our programming often involves retreats, or dedicated time, when you interact with others to heal and grow in many ways:
By reigniting your strength and well-being, you will be better prepared to care for your family with a renewed sense of hope. Sharing a common bond with others helps all of us move forward. Together you will navigate challenges, discover new resources, and begin the process of healing.
Heart to Heart and Gold Star Mom Retreats bring together spouses or parents who have lost a loved one to military service to grow, heal and make lifelong friendships. These communities honor their losses and work together to heal. These retreats help you to navigate challenges, discover resources for healing, make connections, and recreate your lives with a sense of hope. Please see our calendar for details on specific retreats.
Creative Insight is an immersive experience in which participants reignite their purpose. This nine-week program will leave you inspired, empowered and motivated. The first session is an in-person event, followed by a series of online events, culminating in an in-person celebration workshop. During the nine weeks you will explore news ways to look at life with a forward-thinking community for support and strength. Please see our calendar for details on specific workshops.
